《塑造英国历史的船》简直是英式幽默的天花板。看着他们没日没夜地抡锤子、搭建桅杆，那种真实的生存压力和团队摩擦特别带感，甚至比看普通综艺还精彩。光看那几根破木头和几桶烂泥，你就很难想象它们能造出吨位惊人的巨型战舰。他们真的就是在原址上凭空“变”出了当年横扫北海的战舰。主讲人肯·福尔顿不像在讲课，倒像在酒吧给哥们儿讲故事，情绪饱满又带点恶趣味。片子镜头语言老练，看着那艘船是怎么从泥坑里一点点拼起来的，既有触手可及的真实感，又充满硬核的工程浪漫。
